The experience so far
Well I must confess Open GL ES is proving a challenge, and I say that in the best sense of the word. I have written a very basic fragment and vertex shader and have had a bit of a play around. I am however going to take a step back from 2.0 to 1.0. I have decided to take on a iPhone app project which will require the high level of graphics that Open GL ES provides. However not all iPhones support 2.0(All iPads do though). I hope to have more to add shortly and give a better update.
I am yet to come across a definitive source for learning 2.0. I haven't found any resource that I would describe as a must have. There are a lot more book on 1.0, so I hope to track down a good one. Watch this space.

The Beginning
Have just purchased Open GL ES 2.0 Programming Guide.
Getting to grips with the basic concepts. Been a while since I've played with matrixes.
Never programmed a shader before so should be a bit challenging :)
